Mapping Intact Forest Landscapes in Alaska
GFW, with the Conservation Biology Institute
(CBI), has conducted an
analysis of forest intactness in the boreal and coastal temperate
rainforests of Alaska. Funded by the Surdna and WestWind Foundations,
this project builds on previous GFW experience mapping intact forest
landscapes in the boreal forests of Canada,
Russia and Fennoscandia.
